Dr. Tsuyoshi Yamada has experience in developing technologies for using wood ash in forestry, as well as in nutrient cycling within forest ecosystems and soil science for sustainable forest management. He has also been involved in promoting international research cooperation projects, particularly in Malaysia. Currently, he is the team leader of the Forest Soils Department at the Forestry and Forest Products Research Institute (FFPRI).
