Dr. Lisiane dos Santos Freitas

She holds a degree in Science with a specialization in Chemistry from the University of Passo Fundo (1998), a Master’s and PhD in Analytical Chemistry from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (completed in 2007), and a postdoctoral fellowship (2007) at the Institute of Technology and Research. She is currently a professor at the Federal University of Sergipe, a CNPq productivity fellow, with over 50 published articles, 9 patents filed, and 7 book chapters. Her main areas of expertise include sample extraction and pretreatment methods, fractionation of organic compounds, biomass pyrolysis, and the development of analytical methodologies for complex samples using gas and liquid chromatography.
